Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Boneless Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp Red chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Orange food color
  • 2 tbsp Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese Grated as you required
  • 20 Roll Sheets OR as you required

For flour slurry:

  • 2 tbsp Plain Flour
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Take a bowl and add boneless chicken, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, hot sauce, water, and yogurt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Next, add salt, garam masala powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and orange food color. Mix everything together until the chicken pieces are well coated with the spices. Then add 1 tsp of oil and mix it again. Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook it for 10 minutes with the lid on. This will help the chicken to cook through evenly. After 10 minutes, remove the lid and stir the chicken on high heat until it becomes dry. Turn off the heat and let the chicken cool.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together 2 tbsp of plain flour and 2 tbsp of water to make a slurry. This will be used to seal the rolls.
  • Take a roll sheet and place a spoonful of chicken tikka filling in the center of the sheet. Add a generous amount of grated mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken filling.
  • Fold the roll sheet from one side to the other, covering the chicken and cheese filling. Apply some of the flour slurry to the edges of the sheet to seal the roll properly. Repeat this process with the remaining roll sheets.
  • Place the rolls in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 1 month.
  • When ready to serve, take the rolls out of the freezer and let them thaw for a few minutes. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the rolls until they turn golden brown.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
