Falsa Juice

Falsa juice is a popular refreshing, healthy beverage that is easy to make and enjoyed by many for its unique taste and health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Falsa berries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Black salt
  • 2 cups Water (plus 2 cups more for diluting)
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Rinse the Falsa berries under cold running water and remove any stems or leaves.
  • In a blender, add 2 cups of water, 2 cups of Falsa berries, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 1/2 tsp of black salt.
  • Blend everything until smooth and well combined.
  • Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the juice into a bowl to remove any seeds or pulp. Use a spoon or spatula to press the pulp against the strainer to extract as much juice as possible.
  • Once the juice is strained, add 2 cups of water (or more if needed) to dilute the juice to your preferred taste.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (if desired) to give the juice a tangy flavor.
  • Add ice cubes to the juice and mix well.
  • Chill the juice in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Once chilled, give the juice a stir and pour it into glasses.
  • Garnish with mint leaves or sliced Falsa berries and serve.
